George - August 2009

These photos were taken by Heili of George up on Salisbury Plain and then at Kim's. He was totally untouched, no trimming!

 George and his friends

Here are some of George's special friends such as Zac, the Border Collie, who raised him up for the first eigteen months of his life. They were very close and George missed him so much when he died in 2007 aged sixteen. Zac himself had lived the first four years of his life with Harry (Jaslynd Harrier) so he could do anything that a retriever could as well as his own farm work!

Then there is Archie, the Border Terrier, a very special friend. They both had the most wonderful time each day in the office amusing themselves while their owners worked!

The Cockers owned and bred by my friend Margaret (Armand-Smith). George just adores Blackberry and she does him. Sadly they will never have puppies!! Obie thinks George is one big ball of fun and just rags him!

Then it goes without saying that top of the list are the goldens at Tenfield. He loves going back there to see everyone and especially Granny Kim!

wWhen I was young!

I was just over 9 weeks old  when I arrived at my new home. The elderly resident, Zac, did not appreciate that life was never going to be the same! I very soon got the hang of things and quickly found the best bed (when mistress was not looking!). I was up for exploring new things and going on adventures. Mistress says I have been the easiest Golden she has ever had the pleasure of training.
