Tenfield Sea Patrol, named George, came to join the family in December 2006 as an nine-week old puppy. He came into the garden with great cofidence and was not at all phased by the old collie Zac. They made friends immediately which grew into something very special until the old boy died in April 2008 at 16 years old. 

George was a super puppy to rear as life was just one great ball of fun. He brought new life to Zac and together they got up to much mischief! He collected many friends wherever he went and that still holds today. I am asked 'When are you going away so that we can have George to stay again!'. George is typical of the wonderful temperament that comes out of the Tenfield kennel and especially of his sire Tenfield Sea Biscuit. He is always willing to please and just loves to be with one. This is brought out in the shooting field where he displays a real biddability to work and great drive.

Right from the start he showed great show potential. When he attended ringcraft classes at three months old, George displayed all the confidence needed in the show ring and that much needed 'presence'.

At his first show he qualified for Crufts and that set the pattern for 2007. George went on to win many Puppy and Junior classes as well as Best Puppies, Best Puppy in Show at the ECGRC Championship show and RBPIS. As a Junior he won his first BOB and in February 2008 got the final point to gain his Junior Warrant. He has since won more BOBs and AV Open class beating Champions from other breeds! However due to my work George's showing is rather limited.  

George was introduced to the shooting field in the middle of the 2008/2009 season. He showed great promise and was shown the way and encouraged by his father Tenfield Sea Biscuit. He finished the season with much promise and potential for the further.

George completed a full season picking up, enjoying every moment, earning words of appreciation from  was guns for his excellent work. The season was crowned by George gaining his SGWC, joining his father and five other Tenfield relations achieving this accolade! Next season George will work towards achieving his WGC.
